SELF ESTEEM
We
can pick and choose the thoughts by which we would like to continue to
be influenced, and then reinforce them. We can say YES to the good thoughts.
We can release negative thoughts by simply thinking, "I'm sure glad I
got that thought out of my system!" Doing this takes away the power from
the negative thoughts, rendering them inert and impotent. It is only the
thoughts and feelings that we agree with that have the power to change
us.
When we think about getting up from where we are sitting, that thought
has to be agreed with to become active. If we had a thought (I'm going
to get up) and decided no; then we wouldn't get up. The thought by itself
does not produce the change. If you say no, and release the thought, you
take away its power. Only those thoughts that we agree with have power.
Saying no releases the suggestion from you mind.
If you say yes to the good thoughts, and no to the bad ones, every thought
that you think will increase your level of self-esteem. Saying yes to
the good thoughts and no to the bad thoughts is a great way to change
your mind. It is the key to becoming less pessimistic and more optimistic
every single day. We have tens of thousands of thoughts each day, many
of them conscious but most below our level of consciousness. The act of
tuning into the subconscious with all of our attention lets the mind know
that the information is important, and it acts upon that information with
greater power.
