TEST TAKING

The secret to peak performance, as any great performer can tell you, is rehearsal. The secret to great performance on a test is mental rehearsal done in the Alpha State, the powerful state of focused passion. Imagine waking up on the day of the test. Even if the test is next week, pretend it is already next week and imagine it is happening now. Imagine walking into the classroom, sitting at your desk, the teacher passing out the exam, and then imagine that an invisible part of you steps over to the side and is watching you take the test. Imagine that you look like you are doing great. Imagine finishing, checking your answers, and knowing you did great. Finally imagine that is the next class day and you come back to the classroom and receive back your corrected exam. Imagine a big red A on the top of the page and enjoy the feeling of success.

On multiple choice test always answer the questions you know first and then go back to the ones you weren't sure of. On these questions trust your intuiton. If the first thought is B, unless you know otherwise, go with B.

On essay rests, organize your answer in this way. First tell them what you are going to tell them. Then tell them. Then tell them what you told them. This makes your test much easier to grade.
